Let’s have fun dressing up at Escape Games Canada! Each of our seven different rooms has a different theme and a different story, and we’ve had many people show up on theme for our rooms, especially around spooky season. We love when people dress up in spirit, especially when groups really commit and understand the assignment. With this blog, we aim to give you a heads up of what kind of vibe you may want to achieve depending on the room that you play.

The Ark

The Ark is an underwater exploration of a city built beneath the ocean waves. You and your team are scientists on an expedition to explore this art deco city and uncover its secrets. The room is very 1920s themed, although you and your team are meant to be scientists for this mission. In this room, your group could dress either way–either go the flapper route, or go the field scientist route, whichever more suits your whimsy.

The Missing Will

Set in an era reminiscent of the 1930s, you and your team are investigators invited to a great mansion to locate the late owner’s missing will. Upon arrival at the mansion, the butler who greets you is attacked by an unknown beast! Your team must now enter through the basement and discover the secrets of the estate. This mission is based off of Lovecraftian lore, that cuthulhu-esque fear of the deep, without being a horror game. It is a mystery adventure where each character you play has a different ability to help you through the game.

Pathogen

A futuristic heist mission, Pathogen takes place in the distant future of a cyberpunk city where you and your team are agents of Syndicate and are tasked with infiltrating an enemy organization to prevent them from releasing a deadly virus. Put on your best futuristic catsuit as you’ll be crawling through vents, dodging lasers, and deactivating alarms. Good luck operatives!
