We don’t like to brag, but Escape Games Canada is an exceptionally busy place. It’s not uncommon for us to be fully booked up, even on weekdays! While being popular is a good problem for us to have, it means that it can be tough for you to book a spot. Naturally, we would love to be able to accommodate everyone who wants to come at exactly the time that works best for them, but sadly that’s just not possible. Instead, we compiled a couple of tips to help you book your ideal escape room experience.

Plan Ahead

It may seem straightforward, but having a little foresight is extremely helpful in booking an escape room. Make sure you have the things you need ready, like your credit card. Make sure that you’ve verified the availability of everyone in your group before starting. Since spots book up quickly, it’s best to try and book at least a week ahead of time, especially if you have your heart set on playing a newer or more popular game. If you can plan ahead, you’ll likely secure the game you want.

Be Flexible

Far too often we get calls from people asking for a specific game at a specific time, and it is almost always already booked. You have a better chance of getting a spot that works for you if you approach booking with a larger window of time that you’re available. Being available over the span of three hours significantly increases your chances of booking over being available for only one hour.

Always Call

We wish that we could find a game for every group that wandered into our lobby, but that’s just not the case. If you’re feeling spontaneous and want to stop by, we’d love to see you, but please call us first. We don’t want you to travel all the way to our front door only to find out that we’re full, or that you don’t have enough players in your group to play one of our games. Feel free to walk in whenever you’d like, but always reach out to us first. A quick call will make sure that you’ll be able to play when you get here.
